Photonews: Eritrea International Women's Day (8th March 2014)

The National Union Of Eritrea Women (NUEW) was established in November 1979 was established in 1979 as one of the mass organizations of the Eritrean People's Liberation Front (EPLF). Since its establishment NUEW has played a major role in empowering the Eritrean women and fostering their participation in the national liberation movement, in promoting social justice and for the advancement of gender equality in Eritrea. Headquartered in Asmara, Eritrea, it has chapters around the world and its membership stands at over 200000.
